Wappingers Falls
"We started working together when I was desperate for help to tame an out of control perennial bed. The globe thistles had become quite pushy, climbing roses were gangly, hydrangeas barely blossoming and a beautyberry bush had never produced a berry — and the many weeds felt quite comfortable amongst it all. Maya designed a perfect garden for the spot, with ideas of how it could be extended over time. She over saw the preparation and installation of perfectly proportioned garden which provides screening from road traffic, while highlighting the beauty of the river view from the front porch. The following season, she designed and installed an extension to the garden which integrated the boulders placed near the road to protect the property from errant cars, blending with the current gardens beautifully. Maya and Lori providing maintenance help through the seasons, has made gardening fun again and I continue to learn so much as they share their knowledge of plants and design suggestions."
